3 mistakes I have made I have made while building muscle in my 40s that slowed down my gains

Last week I shared with you my weight lift routine and the principles I have used that have allowed me to add 5.5 lbs muscle in one year.

In case you were wondering, that's pretty good gains for a woman in her 40s: about half a pound of muscle every month. Men can expect 1 lb per month of proper training and nutrition.

Once I got it all lined up, my body composition kept getting better.

But I didn't get there right away and I didn't get there without making mistakes along the way.

In fact, at first, I LOST 1.6 lbs of precious muscle, and added body fat - even though I was doing the work. 🤨

These mistakes are actually common pitfalls most people encounter when trying to get back in shape or lose weight.
